Lions Den

Lions Den Crew

I was honored to be invited on the Lions Den. I love this show because not only they highlight music but they speak their mind. I also performed for the interwebs. Vibing with the energy in that room was great, it’s always a party at The Lions Den. Check out my DJ set starting at 56:00. I dropped music from EsgarMarkPLSTK, Lido, Kaytranada, M83, Aeroplane and exclusive music from my collaboration with B.Lewis & Dubstantial. Check the video below!

Droppin’ that exclusive! Coming soon …

May Mania

May Mania.

AJ Orbit w/ Jubilee

The month of May for me was a wild one. Let me take you back in time through visuals & sound of what went down this past month.

In the beginning of May I was flown out to the midwest (Fargo/Moorhead/North Dakota/Minneapolis) by AudioHoundz. It was a great event with amazing people. The subs at the event were massive.

BASS!

Midwest knows how to party!

Minneapolis is a beautiful city.

What an experience it was. I love going to new places & meeting new people. Something about being present is a very important part of the journey. It was very humbling at the same time inspiring.

On the flight back home, I see this.

I am always infatuated with astrology & seeing a view of the moon put the cherry on top of the whole trip. As I come back to my stomping grounds, I had sometime to get in the studio & work on some tunes with B.Lewis & Dubstantial.

Also Last Call is celebrating 5 years this Spring/Summer so get ready for our Day Parties!

My Memorial Day Weekend was WET n’ WILD! It was special because it was also the weekend of Fanimecon. Here’s  a recap:        FRIDAY.   The beginning of the Weekend was crazy. I had to DJ with Desi who was performing at Pride at California’s Great America. It was surreal to share the stage with Karmin & Neon Hitch. They did a great job with their performance.

Later that evening I rushed to GNAR, an event ENI & I created that takes place at Nomikai in Downtown San Jose, in the beginning of the week & in respects to Fanimecon we produced an ANIME Edition of our event.

MarkPLSTK was the special guest for that evening. While there was good music playing, Nomikai also played Akira on their TV monitors. Great vibes that night making new connections & reuniting
with fellow Earthlings.

That night I met this amazing company called Equilibrium USG. They have these amazing high quality modular bags that I would highly recommend checking out. They invited me out to Fanimecon to spin a Kawaii-et (quiet) DJ set at their booth.

SATURDAY.

This was my first Fanimecon & con to ever attend! It was definitely a game changer for me! o((*^▽^*))o

As I was enjoying my time at Fanimecon I was suddenly invited to spin at their Rave. My first time at Fanimecon & BAM! Before I do a 2am DJ set at Fanimecon, I had the privilege to be on the same bill with Jubilee of Mixpak. Thanks to UNWIND, PLSTK, & Future Sounds Classic for putting me on!

After sharing the stage with Jubilee, I rushed to Fanimecon to make my 2am DJ slot time. Wow, the energy was amazing!

This goes on my top 10 for sure. Met tons of amazing people & cosplayas. Crossed that off my list!

SUNDAY.

The last day of this Memorial Day Weekend! I had to conquer RESET Pool Side Party. Thx to  DJ Twin Spin/Socialite/Mikey Tan for bringing me out! I love pool parties. Something about being in the sunlight surrounding a body of water and good music playing finds a special place within me. Nothin’ but GOOD VIBES.

Now on to the evening….. RETURN OF THE BOOM ZAP. My crew, my home, my favorite event. I cannot explain what occurs here, but listen & look for yourself.

Even had special guests from out of town gettin’ groovy!

The music also had me feeling dancey.

What a great May so far! It’s not over yet because this weekend I have FUTURE CHOCOLATE SESSIONS all going down at Temple Nightclub in San Francisco, CA! Thx to Jais Thuggchains for putting me on! Check me out if you can!

Keep on doin’ what you love. Spread good vibes every chance you get. SAVE THE PLANET. We are the future.

It’s been 4 years ago today when DJ AM passed away. DJ AM inspired many DJ’s to think outside the box. He is a big influence to my live performances. Seeing him live in LA a few times was an amazing experience. I love that he tells a story in his DJ sets. At the time of his death , I wanted to make a tribute track to play out live with my drummer friend, J-Stylee. I get a lot of support from this edit. You can listen to the result below.
